How to Keep Your Girlfriend Happy the Whole Year Round

Certain times of the year allow you to get closer to your family, friends and that special someone. Granted there are probably a few people on your list who will never get any kind of holiday card from you (they know who they are) but your girlfriend is definitely not one of them.

You may have hit a few rough patches but all the ups and downs have drawn the two of you closer.

Now your goal is to make sure things continue to go that way. These can definitely help to keep moving things in the right direction.

1. Converse

Communication ranks at the top of the list for many women as vital to a relationship. It's also one of the reasons many couples have trouble. They reach a comfort zone with each other and before you know it the communication comes to a halt.

This does not mean just talking. Learn to become an active listener. Naturally, there are going to be times you attention is focused elsewhere but for the most part try to put aside what you are doing and give her your undivided consideration.

2. Cash

It is probably wise to keep your money separated while going together. Even still the subject will come up from time to time and not necessarily in a discussion but through actual events. If you two have the same philosophy about money fine but even with that there are bound to be some differences.

Don't be afraid to talk about it but make sure things stay civil. For instance are you expected to pay for everything when it comes to a night on the town? As time goes on within the relationship that might be a problem so it is good to get these things out in the open.

Let her know you are self confident enough to handle a difference of opinion on a very important issue. As far as you are conce
ed it just makes the relationship stronger.

3. The Get Together

The longer you two are together the more you may have to visit people and places that in all honesty you would avoid as if they had cholera. However things like this are very important to your girlfriend so be prepared to grin and bear it.

Can she go alone? Maybe but keep in mind she is proud to be with you and wants to let people know how she feels. Be thankful for that and go along. It won't be all the time. You hope.
