HTC Titan is the powerful smartphone from HTC operating on the latest Windows Phone 7 Mango update. With so many mobile phones running on Android. It is undoubtedly the most trusted operating system by most of the smartphone manufactures. Even the Windows Phone which are manufactured by the few brave heart like HTC are the replicas of the Android phone only which though saves money on design but brings no business to the firm. But gradually the scene has changed and HTC has come with the all new and bold HTC Titan. With launch of the Windows Phone 7 Mango update there has been tremendous increase in the number of users and increasing number of apps which are now available in the market. This new OS is certainly grabbing the eyeballs. And HTC Titan is no exception to this craze, the latest phone from HTC is running on the Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Mango and is incredibly designed as well with the whopping screen of 4.7 inches. The distinct phone is the simple slab style phone with huge screen adorning the front with touch buttons and speaker grill on the front. On the back there is Dual LED Flash camera with another set of speaker grill. The huge screen of the phone puts the HTC Titan in the same league as that of Dell streak which has 5 inches display and Galaxy note. But it is much more comfortable to hold and carry around thanks to its dimensions which are slim at 131.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm and weight of 160 grams. You can use the phone while holding in your hands with the thumb moving on the touchscreen. Talking of the spectacular display, the huge 4.7 inches S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 480x 800 pixels is not that good as expected with the screen of such calibre. But, the contrast and the colour reproduction are great at par with that of Motorola Legend which has screen of 3.7 inches. The other additional features to increase the fluid experience of the device include accelerometer, proximity and Gyro sensor. The screen is responsive and supports multi touch input method with mere touch of a finger. On the performance front, there is no problem with the HTC Titan which is running on Windows Phone 7 update. The processor of the smartphone is 1.5 GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon with efficient 512 MB of RAM which helps in multi tasking and excellent running of various apps. The amazing and extraordinary Titan supports 8MP camera which supports HD video filming and capturing of the great pictures as well. With 1.3 MP camera in the front you can video chat and streams the self clicked pictures over Skype or You Tube.
