Our body especially our dermis needs support, needs something to hold our skin in place these substances are called fibroblasts, elastin fibers and collage in which all together helps supports the dermis and helps to avoid tearing of such part. Our hormones are responsible for being that substance. Glucocorticoids (hormone) are produced by your adrenal glands, and this hormone in which is responsible why you have stretch marks for they prevent fibroblasts from forming those elastin fibers and collagen. Women who just gave birth, a person gaining weight, using steroids, puberty and hormonal changes are other causes of stretch marks.

How to fade stretch marks?
There are many procedures that one can do to prevent stretch marks. Number one factor to consider about is the way you live by eating the right foods, exercise, and by just living a healthy lifestyle. Other medical procedures that can be done are laser treatments and procedures. Always remember to consult your doctor and talk to them for their opinion.
