IAS is one of the most sought after career choices of the day, offered by civil services. We all dream of becoming an IAS officer and reach the zenith of success. However, we all are aware of the tough IAS exams and interview which are a pre-requisite to be recruited as an IAS officer. Another area where you need to work upon is the vocabulary section. There is a separate section for vocabulary in the question paper. It would also help you answer your questions in a better way. Read books or the newspapers. Learning from the prescribed books might help you clear the exam, but in order to score well you have to resort to extra material. Search for supplementary notes in libraries, bookstores, internet etc. Keep yourself updated with the recent syllabus. Do not rely on sources which might misguide you.
