IBPS and SSC Recruitments

There are many career choices for us today. However some of them are more popular than the other, due to their lucrative nature and high profile. Such jobs are mostly available in the government sector. Government jobs are always preferred than other ones as they provide job security and a strong pension plan. While SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is well- known for recruiting candidates to non-technical departments in the government, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel) is one of the largest recruiters of the public sector banks of India. Every year, these two recruiters conduct exams for various posts all over India and select the best candidates.rnIBPS: Institute of Banking Personnel has served the banking sector since many years and every year they improve their recruitment procedures. Unlike other recruiters, IBPS is known for its use of modern technology and western techniques to recruit the most capable individual. Its offices are spread throughout India which have the capability to conduct many sessions at one time. It’s strong team of trained professionals designs the question papers for various posts and also help in training the customers. Its recent endeavor is the CWE exam to be conducted in 2011. It is a common written exam for the clerical and bank po posts. CWE involves 19 public sector banks, which will be equal participants. This exam will be conducted in 2011 and would allow entry into these public sector banks.rnSSC: Staff Selection Commission conducts examinations for non-technical departments in the government of India. It conducts examinations for posts like tax assistant, Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' Stenographers, sub-inspectors, lower division clerks, junior engineer, etc. They also conduct periodical tests for typewriting; both in English and Hindi language. The function of SSC is not confined to merely conducting the exam and interview. It also advises the government on matters related to the syllabus, rules and frame works and also discuss cases of re-examination. Recently, SSC exam for the post of CPO (Central Police Organization) was conducted in 2011 which achieved great response from the public. SSC and IBPS are two capable organizations which have excelled in their work of recruitment for the government sector. With every year they grow larger and improve their quality of work. In 2011, also certain changes have been made in their recruitment procedure. One major example of such a change is the CWE exam which will be conducted in 2011.
