Search engines algorithms are shrouded in secrecy. So what works in SEO and it is not simply the result of an analysis of sites that make it to page 1 Sometimes the keywords appear more quickly than expected, sometimes not. It is very difficult to measure the effectiveness of an SEO campaign, as the time for results is extended. As the number of SEO companies and operations waves to find the right company can be a problem.

SEO is not a true science, but it can take a scientific approach. The results are not instant like PPC, but the results should be observed after 3 months on a program. Okay ... give and take several months to the whims of search engines, who likes to change their algorithms just when your site is ready for takeoff!

The problem with SEO is that it is too vague on the ground. We can only guess at what works and what does not. Overall, there are five factors which are said to be 70% of the work.

3. Header tags, ALT tags

If the SEO company is smart enough to combine all these elements is likely that the fourth month of your SERP ranking should be somewhere around 10-12 moderately competitive keywords. Competitive keywords requires much more time and a growing effort to drive increases in proportion to page 1 in all positions.

There are two ways you can check if your business really works on your website.

1. Set up Google Alerts in the name of your company. Once the alert is in place, every time you take your home directory or making links in your article or blog on the company makes a press release from Google will pick up and deliver to the mailbox. 2. Use a tracking account. Google Analytics is free and is a better answer. Ask your SEO company to establish a monitoring system for the analysis and obtain your user ID and password so you can check from time to time.

SEO is unfortunately a long process. How long does it take to decide that the SEO company is to take you for a ride? When six months in a referral program and face one of the following scenarios, it's time to fire your SEO company.

Scenario 1: Six months into the campaign, there is no increase in search traffic

Scenario No 1: Six months in the country, there is no increase in search traffic, why is it so? Perhaps not work at all, or maybe they are targeting all the wrong keywords. Highly competitive keywords can lead to more traffic, but require more time (read up to 12-24 months) to optimize. If you want to maximize the ROI professional SEO companies want to combine the low competition, moderate competition and high competition keywords. If the SEO has not taken this approach, it is time to separate them.

How to check: I stress that the addition of Google Analytics (a free tool) for your site and visit it regularly.

Scenario 2: Your traffic has increased, but you do not get conversions Maybe it's an honest mistake that can be corrected or maybe you get a lot of spam traffic, because the company has put it the wrong places just to show statistical increase in traffic. Believe me, often with non-professional companies who want the credibility of SEO. The client is taken in. unacknowledged.
