IGNOU Admission in January and July session

The Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of the biggest Open and distance learning university in the world. It is a central university and its head office is located at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India. It is very much popular with its short name "IGNOU". Right now, IGNOU admission is going on for July 2019 session. The admission is offered by IGNOU University in various academic programs such as Bachelor Preparatory Programme, Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma, and Certificate. Students can apply for admission to various Bachelor Degree programs such as BDP- (BA, B.Com, B.Sc.), BSW, BTS, BCA, B.Ed, etc. Also, the university offers many popular distance learning Master Degree programs such as MA, M.Com, MCA, M.Sc., MSW, MTM, etc. Apart from these UG and PG courses, the university also offers admission to various Diploma and Certificate courses which have been designed to meet the latest industry requirement. Earlier, the students have to apply for admission in this Open Distance Learning University by visiting the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre and filling up application form offline. But, now with the digitalization of the world, the process of admission has been changed in Indira Gandhi National Open University as well. At present, students can apply for IGNOU admission online. After submitting an application form online, they have to submit the prescribed admission fee as well. The admission fee varies as per the program selected by the student. However, there are still few programs available for which the admission process is carried out by university at Regional center by the offline process. The B.Com & M.Com programs (Collaboration with ICAI, ICSI).
