Importance of Team Spirit for kids

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success”. We human beings are blessed with a very magnificent trait that we can’t live an isolated life. In every walk of life we need partners with whom we can share our feelings and also need their help to accomplish different tasks. In this world, no one could be the monarch of the solitary island. To lead a healthy life, we always need the supportive hands of others. Accomplishing a task as a group has a charm of its own. We can see the glowing faces of our cricket or football players after winning a particular match. This is their team spirit that makes them smile and share the victory with each other. Not only in human beings, but we can also notice this in animals and plants too. If we observe wild animals, we can find that they always travel in a group. This ensures security to their lives and also they can face the enemies if they are in a group. During the storm, the chances of survival of a bunch of plants are higher than a plant standing alone in a piece of land. Team spirit is very important in every walk of life. There are many people who afraid of mixing in a group because of lack of self confidence. Thus it is very important to teach your child the basic rule and importance of working in a team. It can be done in school as well as inside the house. School is a much better place to learn this skill as kids get the chance to interact with lots of their peers in the school only. When we act in a team, we get both mental and physical support to cope up with the situation. There are different tips that parents and teachers can follow to inculcate the spirit of team work among the students.
