Do not beg to him. Crying, begging and pleading will not help you in any way. Rather, it will push him away from you. It will create a bubble of negativity around your efforts to get your ex back fast. Take up a positive stance instead.
Do not forget the reason the break up occurred for in the first place. If you broke up with him because he was cheating with you or beating and abusing you then it is better that you stop right. Do not let him take advantage of you. If he is cheating on his current girl friend to stay with you, turn back. If he is trying to have both of the relationships together, stop dead. You do not trust a person who cheats twice. If you are ex is a married person, then it is in your best interest that you stop looking out for him and try for someone better in your life.
If he is looking only for a physical relationship, then it is possible that he will show fake interest in you. He will be looking for someone with whom he is familiar and at that point you better stop seeing him. Try to be just friends at the most and stop there.
Do not repeat the mistakes which led to your break up in the first place. Think over the reasons and figure out which one of them were your genuine mistakes. Work on them sincerely and with due consideration. But do not compromise on things which he wants just to gain advantage over you.
Do not get high on expectations of getting him back. There will be a possibility that you cannot get back with him as before. Be ready to face a situation in which you will have to accept a permanent end to your relationship with him. Be strong enough to let go of him when there is no way further or you might him lose forever and ever.
