Women need to focus maintaining breast health through life style and dietary choices; however there are some suggestions to reduce the risk of breast cancer all these have made after researches and studies so women should follow all these if possible.
  • It is advised to women that they should be active in life because studies have shown that women who are active in life cut their risk to develop breast cancer by 72%. A woman can stay active by adopting an active life style or by exercising regularly because exercise is beneficial for all and keeps the diseases away helps maintaining the body weight as well that is of great help to reduce the risk of breast cancer so women should plan exercise of at least 30 minutes daily in the form of a simple walk, jogging, cycling or swimming.
  • It is advised that more unrefined seed foods should be consumed by women because all these foods contain phytoestrogen and a woman who consumes the food with this element is four times less likely to develop the cancer in breasts. Whole grains, nuts, beans, edible seeds, vegetables and fruits should be consumed along with their seeds.
  • The consumption of vegetable oil should be reduced while the consumption of dairy products and animal oil should be increased such as yogurt, milk, olive oil, and butter on daily basis while meat should be consumed from time to time.
  • Tofu and soy beverage should be eaten less because isoflavone found in the soy causes breast cancer to spread rapidly while it is suggested that tamari and miso should be consumed more because they play a vital role to prevent breast cancer.
  • Foods rich in antioxidants should be consumed more as compare to the supplements of vitamin A, C and E as it is suspected that supplements contribute to increase the risk of breast cancer. It is also advised that five to seven servings of dark green and red food should be consumed on daily basis.
  • Try sleep in a dark as studies have shown that continuous exposure to the light during night increases the risk to develop breast cancer by almost 36 %.
  • It is good to drink red clover blossom infusion because it also contributes reducing the risk of developing breast cancer.
  • Seaweed should be eaten as a vegetable at least a half cup serving should be consumed per week such as kelp, alaria, kombu, wakame etc.
  • Breast cancer awareness is considered to be one of the great aids to save the life of a woman affected by breast cancer because it helps detecting the cancer at initial stage when it is easier to treat and cure in short time so women should try to be breast aware and efforts should be to enlighten it as well.
  • Breast examination is beneficial for women of all ages so a female should start it from the age of 20 because breast cancer recognizes no age limit and can affect the women of any age any time so it’s better to be breast aware in the young age because it helps enlightening breast awareness.
