Proper digestion is very important part of our life. If you have indigestion problem then your daily life will be disturbed. The following are the supplements that you can use at your home to improve your digestion.
Have vitami
C as supplement as this helps in reducing the inflammation in the stomach. The Vitamin C also keeps the toxins away from the gastrointestinal tract.
Acidophilus, Bifid bacteria and Lactobacillus are the probiotics that helps in the digestion of food and it also keeps the stomach bugs away and stop the growth of them. You can get these probiotics in the form of pills from a drug store.
The enzymes like lipase, protease and amylase are very good for digestion and liver. So take these enzymes as supplements. These are naturally produced by the body but the supplements of enzymes are equally good.
You can add flaxseed to your daily flour so that you will not face constipation problems. The flaxseeds are very good for intestines and they will not spoil your taste because they are tasteless.
Peppermint oil is very good for getting rid of gas and bloating issues.
Ginger is very good for nausea and mango ginger can be used for stomachache.
Increase the intake of fiber in your diet. You can do this by having salads and sprouts daily in your diet. Have bran cereal in your breakfast. Strawberries, blueberries, dried apricots, and dried plums can be taken as snacks. Do not take one after another as this will lead to bulkiness.
Drink water as much as you can. Water flushes out all the toxins from the body. In case you can’t take lot of water then go for fruits that contain ninety percent water like watermelon and oranges.
Aloe vera juice or the extract of aloe vera relieves the problem of heartburn, coliis and acidity. The aloe vera juice is a very effective antacid and helps to cure gastritis and ulcers.
Baking soda when taken with water helps relieving indigestion.
Papaya is very good for digestion as it contains natural digestive known as papain which helps to clean the digestive tract. You can get one fully ripe papaya from the market and eat it in any from like raw, juice or with honey3. Have more fiber:
Pear juice is good to get rid of stomach inflammation. You can have it as it is or make a juice of it.
Brown Rice is very good for the digestive system. It contains lot of fiber content and it will minimize the swelling of your stomach. So it is advised to eat brown rice instead of white rice.
Ajwain when taken with rock salt proved very effective for the digestive tract and it will give instant relief from the pain in the abdome
Green tea or any herbal tea should be taken to avoid acidity problem. Green tae has many other benefits also. The indigestion problem can be kept away when green tea is taken with ginseng.
All of the above mentioned are very good digestion supplements when taken at right time.
