Once you have their permission, you can begin contacting them regularly to build a relationship and of course, to send additional information about what you have to offer. Doing online surveys is also an excellent way for you to contact your customers and to learn something in the process. An Internet survey is very convenient, much more so than the survey questionnaires that were sent in the mail or done over the telephone in the past. Although real-world surveys can also be beneficial to your company, using the Internet properly can get you a greater response and can even benefit you in other ways. For example, you can set up a survey questionnaire on your website and then invite your existing customers via email to come to that questionnaire. They will fill out information about their experience with your business or products that they have purchased in the past. How can you use that information to your benefit?
If you dissect the information that is available properly, you will be able to see changes that must be made to improve on your product or service. You will also be provided with some direction as to what you can do which will improve the services that you are providing. Continue to use surveys regularly; they are a tool that can improve every aspect of your business.
One final way that you can use the Internet to contact your customers is through social media marketing. Social media, such as Facebook or twitter gives you access to thousands of potential customers and most of your existing customers. Once you are connected with them through the network, it is important to use that connection wisely. Instead of simply blasting your advertising message over and over, connect with them to build relationships. When it comes time to offer your advertising message, they will welcome it.
