Vacation rentals provides tremendous alternative of hotels or motels and compare to them it also helps to save your money during your holidays. The main benefit of vacation rental is it makes you feel like you are living in your own house, but there are certain things that one should provide to make the guest feel homely atmosphere. If you are going to stay in vacation rental then you should try to clean the property yourself with the help of family members which makes you feel like living in your own house. Compare to hotels or motels vacation rentals provides some superb benefits but as we know every coin has two sides, there are some crucial points where vacation rental fails to deliver quality services. Today in this article we try to discuss on some points where vacation rental fails to cop up with quality facility and other amenities issues. - As we discuss in last article, improper maintenance is major issue in most of the vacation rentals. Not properly cleaned bathroom areas or bedrooms may spoil the mood of guests. You may find dirt or dust on dining, chairs, bulbs or lights may not work properly etc. so these issues upsets the guest before they even start their holiday. - Not at all support provided from owner. You won’t find supportive staff present their, if you are have booked directly from owner of vacation rental. So, if you find something to be fixing it up it will consume lot of time and may spoil your whole day. - No maids or servants for you in vacation rentals. Mostly you won’t find any kind of servants or maids for you in vacation rentals, some are exceptional from this and they will also charge you for providing such kind of special services. - This could not be always scenario but sometimes if you go for vacation rentals owner may ask you to bring all stuffs like shampoo, towel, soaps etc. which will make you feel little embarrassing. - Due to locations it may be possible that you have to hire a car for transportation. This will be scenario if you are going for beach side vacation rentals as for shopping or site seeing in city you may have to opt to go for car renting service. - Even if you are not satisfied with the services offered by vacation rentals, you can’t do anything as there is nothing like exchange facility like hotels so you will have to adjust yourself even if you don’t find vacation rentals properly maintained. - The facilities and amenities in vacation rentals may vary according to the locations or states or countries so it is possible that at the time booking you may find and assumed all the facilities and amenities will be provided but when you reach and see the arrangements you may get disappointed due to higher expectations. So, above we have discussed some of the major drawbacks which leads vacation rental to be on negative side of guest lists compare to hotels. If you have been ask for any particular services or facility in vacation rentals then for your safety you should ask for agreement or contract in written and signed by owner so you can have proof of service with you and may go legal if they don’t offer the promised one.
