This happens after the god asks bucks from him for marriage. But he fails to pay complete amount. The rest is being paid by people or the devotees who visit this temple in the present times.

The temple of Padamanabaswamy in Kerala is dedicated to lord Padamba and is the richest temple in the world even as one chamber of the temple is not opened yet. Lord Padamba has been worshipped in this temple since centuries. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, it is the richest temple in the world. The Brihsdeshwara temple located in the Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu is a splendid monument and is in the list of heritage sites of the world.
