A third of a cup canola oil, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, a couple teaspoons granulated garlic, a teaspoon of rosemary, one teaspoon thyme, a single teaspoon of black pepper, a single teaspoon red pepper, 1 teaspoon of chili powder and half a teaspoon of dry mustard. Mix well. Put steaks in bag covering the meat thoroughly with the ingredients. Sear the two sides of the steaks in a hot frying pan. When the corn on the cob is done, heat the oven upto 375ºF. Place the seared steaks on a pan and prep till they get to the optimal temperature 165ºF. Prep five to six minutes for medium, even less for rare, more for well done. Serve your indoor barbeque with baked beans or coleslaw and Texas toast. For a twist, serve the corn on the cob with butter. Some ideas for the butter include: Peppered Honey - three tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, a half teaspoon of honey, a quarter teaspoon salt, and a single teaspoon lime juice. Ctrus Butter - 3 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, one-quarter teaspoon of salt, one-half teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. This food will certainly bring back memories of a picnic in the park!
