Having good antivirus software installed on your system is good but do remember that practicing safe browsing is equally important. Do not open email attachments you receive from someone unknown to you. Make sure that you do not download the viruses in the first place, it the best way to keep viruses away from your computer. Do not click on any suspicious post or online objects as such. You must have noticed some fake links, never click any such link to stay safe. Do not trust antivirus software developing companies claiming that their antivirus is the best and it provides security to the best level.

The best and easiest way to protect PC from all types of security threats is help from certified technicians through remote antivirus support services. These highly skilled technicians can handle all virus related niggling issues no matter how complex they are.

Viruses can travel through e-mail attachments. E-mail messages. Every email does not carry virus but only .exe, .com or other types of executable files can carry a virus. Since computer networks have groups of computers connected together by a large computer know as a server if one file that is used by several network users becomes infected with a virus, the virus will automatically spread to the other users.

It is obvious that emails contain private and confidential content which is meant only for the one who is supposed to receive it. You would not like it that others too access it. This is why blocking access is so important. The problem is that email is the communication channel that is left unprotected and as such vulnerable to attacks. If email account is not secure then absolutely you are putting your private and information at risk.

The security threats are also increasing at the same rate. To protect you confidential information and your identity from being theft, it is very necessary that every computer has firewall installed. While you are working online, your system is at the risk of being a target of the hackers and malicious programs like viruses, spyware, malware, Trojan horses and worms enter your system and change settings without your consent. The computer’s hard drive runs out of free space. The programs behave erratically. This can lead to degradation of computer performance.

It is a fact that there is no computer security that will provide you 100% protection against all malware all the time. If someone tells you otherwise then he is not telling you the truth, he is actually into an election. Tests from respected independent organizations show clearly that antivirus solutions typically run detection rates that are very close to 100% but they are not 100%. Typically, the best antivirus products will have a 98.xx% to 99.xx% detection rate. There are well over 30 000 new unique viruses appearing everyday and that means that missing just 0.1% equals to letting through 30 pieces of malware into your system. Therefore, even the 99% protection level will keep you protected most. So install antivirus for your PC security and keep it safe from any noxious objects.
