Studies have revealed that a good diet is much better than exercise when it comes to weight loss. You may be working out 2 hours a day but without the right diet you will lose nothing significant.
Maintain your diet. It’s important to stop intake of carbs but not completely, instead concentrate on having a healthy protein-rich diet that will keep you energized all day long. Reduce table sugar intake as it makes you want to eat more and more. It also causes you to have a deficiency in chromium, a mineral that helps you build calorie burning lean tissue, so remember to take plenty of chromium in your diet as well.
Water intake is very necessary. Water not only helps to dissolve vitamins and minerals but is also a medium for nutrients entering and waste exiting the blood cells. Try to drink as much water a day as possible.
Exercise and stay fit. Losing weight should not be your only concern, to be truly fit you have to exercise and stay in shape. Exercise on a daily basis will also reduce the probability of you getting diabetes, improves your mood, brain function and helps you get a better night’s sleep.
Finally I would like to say that the journey to a fit body is not an easy one, if you truly desire a fit and energetic body you have to be prepared to do give it 100% dedication. A half hearted effort will not give you even a quarter of the results. If you find yourself losing steam, bring to mind the reasons why you would like to lose weight. The reasons can be limitless and there are no down sides to having a better, fitter and well toned physique. Look into the mirror every morning and imagine yourself a much slimmer and fitter person with boundless energy performing tasks and duties like never before and you will achieve great looks to your desires with time, effort and consistency.
