Murmur is the sound that the heart produces due to the noise the blood makes as it flows through. Most murmurs cannot be heard unless a stethoscope is used. Radiation refers to the direction of the blood flow. He will also check the intensity of the murmur which refers to the intensity of sound on a particular scale. The pitch and quality of the murmur is also evaluated. Murmur sounds may change due to certain factors.
