When B2C B2B business websites develop well, there are more and more complaining cases relating to foreign trade revealed.
B2B platform is one of the major marketing tools for developing foreign trade business for some companies, who take the advantages of low cost, massive information and high efficiency.
Many international buyers have found good business partners in China but some buyers attempted to cheat china suppliers.
One case revealed that a domestic supplier located in Zhejiang province, in China, received a request from overseas buyers for buying some ornament products worth US$ 200. The payment was divided into two parts, 50% needed to be paid before and payment and the other half could be paid after the transaction.
The two companies then completed several international transactions and built good and steady cooperation relationship.
In 2008, the buyers sent an inquiry about buying tens of thousands of dollars and claimed the payment need to be done after the transaction. The suppliers thought that they have established good relationship and accepted the payment terms. The supplier sent the goods to the international buyer and asked the payment. First, the buyers said they have some financial difficulty and need more time. At the end, the suppliers can not contact the buyer any more and the website was shut down, telephone could not get through, fax or email could not reach them either.
Later the supplier found out that the international buyer has set up another websites and contacted other suppliers in China. ããrnSuppliers need to maintain cautious in every case even though they have established good relationship with the buyers.
