They can be on any of the main sites, a helpful thing to do since they have their demographics targeted and categorized, meaning you can reach your desired audience more efficiently. You can advertise certain deals you’re offering there, so when they’re surfing the web they will stumble on your ad without being especially solicited by you.

Being on the web also means you need a general presence there, on different sites, so that you can interact with people in your community. Every kind of consumer arranges themselves into groups online, and you can tap into them directly if you use the right sites in the right way. People chat in groups, and they discuss what they do and don’t like. You can use this information to speak to them directly in order to modify or update your site, as well as, of course, to invite them to check it out. This is how information spreads online. There are a host of ideas out there for how to draw attention to your site, but the main thing has got to be substance: if you operate the basic social media streams reasonably well and you sell a great product, you should do just great. But there’s something to be said for making sure the product itself is great. Once that’s prepared, the web can handle the rest.
