History clearly shows that most people’s advice will cause you to lose faith and money, especially from so-called experts in the financial industry. It’s even more difficult for Christians not to follow investment advice from these same experts. So what do we do? We truly need unbiased sources if we really desire to learn about money management and investing. The way to true riches is simple. He who makes the money, should manage the money.
You are the Best Manager for Your Money
You are the best manager of your own money, because it was you who earned it in the first place, according to the Bible. Those who manage their own money with a simple plan of action, have the ability to accumulate great wealth over the years. It’s fine to get advice from insurance sellers, financial planners, or mutual fund sellers, but do your research as well. If you get a second opinion regarding your health, why not do the same to remain financially healthy too. Most of us have pension funds through our employers and are depending on them when we retire. They are great assets, but still need to be monitored as well. Remember, they are managed by firms who are looking to make a profit for themselves, not you.
Matthew 13:12….Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
Luke 16:10….Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
Matthew 6:19….Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Invest In Your Family
Society wants us to believe that investing in our children is a liability, not an asset and that raising children is very expensive. It’s not extremely expensive to raise children in today’s society. If you’re a good parent, you can raise your children to be productive members of the society. They will make the world a better place. Our children are the BEST investment we can ever make. I invest in my family by having a regular savings account, college funds for my children and building a business for their legacy.
Psalm 112:1-2…Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Psalm 127:3-5…Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
Just want to show you that Biblical prosperity means literal wealth, success, and honor. Too many people try to explain away the basic meaning of prosperity in the Bible or argue that it’s an Old Testament thing.
Satan wants us to be poor, and his kingdom to be rich!!! So that people will not see the glory of God when they look at us walking around poor and defeated. He wants his servants can have plenty of money to promote and create more evil.
If we obey and follow God, all kinds of prosperity that are promised in the ENTIRE Bible will be ours. Contrary to what religious people are saying, money doesn’t bring sorrow. But the love of money does. (1 Timothy 6:10)
Proverbs 10:22…The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
