Thus for example, a developer might confine him / herself only to the development of mobile applications while some others might extend their purview to the other gadgets like tablet PCs. Some of the other developers today have confined themselves to the development of Iphone applications only. The reason for the same is that the platform, in itself, is tricky. Hence, it requires an individual to understand the platform better. This could only happen if the individual is dedicatedly working on this technology day in and day out. Therefore, an Iphone developer should understand the platform on which s / he is working. Therefore, once the platform has been understood only then would such Iphone app developer be able to be successful. There are many features to be known about the Iphone platform. The first feature about it is the fact that such gadget is a touch screen mobile phone. Therefore, it means that the applications which are developed should be compatible with the touch screen interface of a phone. The other thing about it is that the Iphone is also a mobile phone. Many Iphone developers consider Iphone as a separate entity, which is not the case. It should not be slit from the mobile technology. What should also be known about Iphone is that the screen size is limited to what it is. What we mean to say is that the screen size of Iphone is not as big as lets say a tablet PC or anything close to that. This is because it is a phone. Therefore, the Iphone app developer should develop the applications keeping this fact in mind. Therefore, only once one understands the value and relevance of such information about Ipad would s / he be able to appreciate what is the platform about and develop the right technology and applications, based on the requirement of the platform and the expectations of its users.
