Is Autism Over-Diagnosed?

Autism is NOT over-diagnosed. One child in 59 is as real as the day comes after night. There are today an outsized proportion of children who are not behaving in a neurotypical way. There are also no parents out there looking forward to such a diagnosis. There are, on the other hand, adults who seem to be wanting to be diagnosed, and some doctors willing to comply to justify some awkwardness. While I don’t know Mr. Dan Ackroyds personally, when his wife pushed him to see a doctor for some of his quirkiness and was finally diagnosed with autism then I do think that there seems to be an issue. I’ve heard Mr. Ackroid in interviews and while he may have quirks as I would expect from someone performing at his level of creativity, the way he speaks and seems to relate does not indicate to me autism. There are such cases but they don’t move the needle. For sure there is a recrudescence of cases and these cases are as real as I write this at this moment.
There is a solution, or rather process for autism treatment with homeopathy. Thirty years of practice tells me so. It is clear that parents can at least expect a great amelioration of socialization, improved speech, improved daily function with behavior, and sensory integration completely resolved.
Homeopathy addresses the developmental function directly unlike what biomed attempts to do which is find a bacteria, viral or fungal infection not justifies the means of giving multiple medications, supplements, and ad nauseum diets. By addressing with homeopathy the developmental issue straight any of these possible issues such as candida and heavy metal toxicities of collaterally addressed as well. It is the disfunction of development that produces the accumulation of heavy metal not the other way around which is the principal reason why doing chelation does not produce the results everyone expects.
In thirty years, my approach has been to look at the totality of each child and what makes each child an individual in his or her own right and to gradually narrow down the remedies that relate specifically to developmental delay. That search has led to the wonderful effectiveness I have been privileged to witness.
