Is Long Distance Relationship Possible to Live Through?

Being in a long distance relationship is challenging. There are many reasons that will lead partners to live apart from one another like studying abroad and work opportunities in different regions. This shouldn't be a barrier although. Even under normal circumstances relationships do face many challenges and it is upon partners to work as a team to overcome them. Long distance relationship requires both partners to be patient and to trust one another throughout. There should not be any suspicions between each other. You have to decide that you're going to wait till the time both of you will be together. Commitment from both partners is required, therefore partners should be there for one another despite the fact of them being far apart. Apart from partners not being together due to the distance, there is nothing strange about long distance relationship. When you're in a long distance relationship, you'll spend a great deal of time missing your partner and wondering what your partner could be doing each moment of the day. You'll also remember the good times you had together. There are times you'll start pondering over a list of "what if's." Like I said, being in a long distance relationship is challenging. Remember that if you're both able to work through the challenges and obstacles, then you would have found true love and happiness that you deserve. After all, the distance puts to test the love both of you have for one another. When you finally reunite, all of the struggles and challenges you had to tackle in sustaining the long distance relationship will fade away. There are people who don't believe in long distance relationships. Such people should not be skeptical but they should realize that long distance relationships do survive. Partners can have a fulfilling relationship despite the distance. There are certain things that must be considered in order to build a stable long distance relationship. They are: 1.) Having Mutual Feelings: The most important thing is that both partners who are in a long distance relationship must have feelings that are mutual. 2.) Strong Commitment: Love must be paired with commitment from both partners. Both partners must be committed to one another so that love bonds them together despite the distance between them. Partners will work through the obstacles that may arise if both of them are fully committed to each other. If both partners are not willing to be committed completely, then they're just lying to one another and their long distance relationship will not work in the end. 3.) Having Faith and Trust: Partners must also have faith and trust. They may find themselves worrying because they're so far apart. One partner may start experiencing stress as a result of thinking about what the other partner is doing, this is not healthy. If they trust each other and they have faith in their relationship, then the distance will not hinder them from having a fulfilling relationship. 4.) Communication: Both partners should keep in touch. They should communicate effectively and more often. 5. Being Mature: Both partners must be mature to deal with issues. When one or both partners are childish in their thoughts and behaviors, then the relationship will not work. They'll simply drive each other crazy. While long distance relationships have been compared to dreams by some people, those that have gone through it can tell you some of their very own stories. The majority of them have proven that it is possible to overcome the difficult times that come along. Keep it in mind that, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."
