“How can I really be free from all miseries? – Live this life to know just this!” - Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan The law of karma is pretty straightforward - When you give happiness, you get happiness. And if you give suffering to others, you get suffering in return. So, from the moment we begin to care for the other person’s pain and miseries, we immediately start gaining freedom from our own miseries. By seeing the other person in comfort, we automatically experience happiness within. And by earning the wealth of love in the hearts of people, our birth as a human being too proves satisfying. Therefore, in our lives, let’s maintain a constant inner intention that of:rn1.Not hurting any living being through our thoughts, words or actions, and rn2.Using our mind, speech and body for the service of mankind. rnTo give strength to our intention, every morning, we can pray to God that, “May no living being ever get hurt by my thoughts, words or actions.” And in case, we end up actually hurting someone, be it even in our thoughts, by thinking evil of the person, we shall immediately seek forgiveness from God for the wrong deeds. Next, you’ve mentioned, “Saints are saying that the ultimate aim of one’s life is eventually to realize God.”rnYes, that is how it is!rnEvery common man’s experience suggests that no matter how much money one may have earned or how successful one may have become in life, no one can escape from miseries. This suggests the ultimate purpose of human birth ought to be something different. The reason why we are trapped in misery is because we have not known our real Self. Just imagine can we experience happiness when we do not know ‘Who Am I’? And of what meaning is success or of what value is money when we don’t even know our real identity? The ultimate liberation from every kind of misery can indeed be attained only when one attains Self-Realization. The Self means the Pure Soul residing within our body. Soul is an abode of eternal bliss and therefore no misery or suffering can ever touch it. Such Soul is our real Self. And this Soul (Aatma) itself is God (Parmatma)!!! Thus, to realize God means to realize the Self. Hence, there can be no bigger aim than to realize the Self. And Self-Realization is possible only in human life-form. This is the reason why even celestial beings long to be born as human-beings.rnBut to realize the Self is not easy. One has to persevere very hard to get there. However, we are fortunate that there is Akram Vignan that offers a stepless path to Self-Realization, wherein with the grace of Gnani, the Enlightened One, it becomes possible to attain the experiential knowledge of Self within just 2 hours of time!!! When the Enlightened One, having divine spiritual energies, graces us with the awareness of the Self (Self-Realization), the separation between the body and the Soul is established. The two are indeed separate entities and their functions too are separate. By maintaining this separation, we gradually progress towards the Absolute experience of the Soul and one day become God.rnTherefore, attaining Self-Realization should be our ultimate aim. For details, please visit https://www.dadabhagwan.org/ To conclude:rnMeeting Gnani (One who has realized the Self and is able to impart Self-Realization to others); attaining Self Realization from Him, and progressing towards the Absolute experience of the Soul should be our ultimate aim in life. rnAnd until then, we can surely begin to pursue our goal of maintaining a pure inner intent to not hurt any living being, in the slightest, through our mind, speech or body.rnIn case you still have any questions, you can directly ask Pujya Deepakbhai, and with His help, decide what is the ultimate purpose of our life.
