Promotional items have been a staple of businesses for generations. Past generations used the side of buildings and even wagons and motor driven vehicles as billboards. Potential customers saw the bills or advertisements every day during their daily routines. Today billboards can be any object with the company brand embossed on them. Virtually any item can be promotional, but coffee mugs, in particular, make an excellent promotional item. Every time coffee cups are used the company brand is not only visible to the one using the mug but to others, as well. The mugs can be gifts to clients and employees alike. Mugs make perfect give away items at trade shows and company open houses. Businesses can engage with local coffee shops, and integrate the company mugs into their inventory. There may even be individuals that do not drink coffee but collect mugs. Many curio cabinets contain collectable mugs from around the world. For promotional products, to succeed they must be functional. Unlike various promotional items, coffee mugs will not end up in the junk drawer. The mugs are always prominent whether they are in the company break room or a customer’s kitchen. Mugs designed as to go cups will be seen by even more potential customers. People love their coffee, and many want to take it with them. Employees catching the train to work or a taxi are carrying the company’s billboard with them. Companies that want even more attention can get creative with the company colours, and eye-catching emblems. Mugs can be plastic, traditional stoneware or even glass. Plastic mugs are great to give away at company or community events. The higher-end mugs can be tailored to individual clients. People love to show off their gifts and will display them for others to see. Companies can look at coffee cups as a form of good will and as advertisement. Job seminars held at college campuses are an ideal place to give away coffee cups. Conferences are an excellent place to give away mugs to the employees. The coffee cups should be quality items, so employees and customers alike feel they have received something of value. The usual trinkets that companies give away may leave the wrong impression with some clients. Customers when they receive promotional items sometimes look for the nearest trash receptacle. There are just so many uses for plastic key chains and pencils. Make the coffee cups substantial, and the return on the investment will make it worth the extra. The coffee cups are the company’s billboards make sure they catch everyone’s eye.
