We are all good people. We all believe we were placed on this earth to accomplish great things. We all know that we deserve all the greatness this world has to offer. Don’t we?
So what happened over time? How did the world become so negative and chaotic? Somewhere along the line we changed and we started being set on gaining everything for ourselves whilst leaving everyone else out and stepping on all sorts of toes to build ourselves up.
How does this then relate into your life? Things start to go wrong and you question everything? People start treating you harshly saying things that are so out of the blue and you doubt yourself. Why? Well when a child is told something don’t they take the persons word for it? If you were to tell a child that the sky is purple, would they not believe you? So what is the difference when we get older? Someone says the sky is purple and we say “no way it’s blue”. Who taught us that the sky is blue? Was it our parents or teachers?
Who are we to judge who is right or wrong? No one on this planet has the qualification to make judgment on another yet we all still sit high up on our mountain, point and snigger, ridicule and gossip all in the name of fun.
How many times have you been in a room of people and all of a sudden the group across the room are checking you up and down and then turning to talk about your state when you walked in. Makes you want to head for the door and never come back. Imagine the pressure for teenagers just trying to fit into this world when they already feel so awkward. Another scenario is you’re at work and you feel like everyone is part of the clique but you. They are heading off to lunch together and you are left at your desk wondering why no one invites you.
Society has become a really cruel joke and perhaps its time to drop the ‘I am too good for everyone’ routine, admit we are insecure and fearful and live this life in peace and with a direction of assisting our fellow colleagues on this earth. We are here for a short time and we seam to be wasting it by spilling our toxic anger onto each other. If you are unhappy with your life, change it. The more you complain the harder it is going to get and guess what? Mid life crisis is sure to hit because you still have decided to remain in your current situation and not make changes.
So the next time you feel like you are in a negative whirlwind turn inward for a second and ask yourself. What is it about this situation that is causing me to be negative, or say something about that person, or make that person feel as bad as I do and then change the way you think. Don’t make your unhappiness about someone else. It is not about them
IT’S ABOUT YOU!!! And the only one you can control is yourself.
