It’s that time of year again, holidays are upon us and New Years Eve is right around the corner. Have you made your list yet? No, I don’t mean the one for Santa Claus…New Years Resolutions of course! If I’ve guess right then your list probably looks almost exactly the same as last years…and the year before that…and the year before that.n It might say some things like Lose weight, quit smoking, stop procrastinating, exercise more- It’s time to conquer those old destructive habits once and for all, and the good news is, it doesn’t have to be difficult. nn n Let’s talk about losing weight. Most people who lose weight only to gain it all back have come to realize that there is much more to losing weight and keeping it off than just dieting, exercise, and willpower alone, which sometimes works, mostly doesn’t, and is definitely filled with struggles along the way. Then the diet is over and they’ve lost the weight (if they didn’t give up already) and pretty soon they gain it all back. Why is that? Because willpower is in our conscious mind and habits and beliefs lie in our subconscious mind.nn n When a person is overweight the conscious and the subconscious minds are not in alignment and that is why many people feel like they are mentally fighting a battle. This happens with smoking as well. In fact, did you know that 70% of all smokers want to stop? Smokers know that smoking is killing them, affecting their health, reducing the length and quality of their life, and more. In addition to knowing the detriments caused by their smoking their doctors advise them to stop and loved ones are hurt. And they still smoke. Why? Why is it so hard to stop? Because smoking and overeating are habits that are controlled at a subconscious level.nn n What needs to happen to achieve success in all of these areas is a change in thinking at the subconscious level, and this change in thinking directly facilitates a change in your behaviors or self-sabotaging patterns. Our beliefs and patterns are established at a very early age. We may not even realize how we came to believe certain things and how these beliefs are affecting our lives and the choices that we make. nn n The most effective way to change a habit quickly and easily is with hypnosis- here’s why. n With hypnosis we can uncover the negative beliefs that we subscribe to at a subconscious level and re-educate the subconscious mind with positive empowering beliefs and thoughts about anything we choose, our relationship with food, exercise, cigarettes, stress, and most importantly the beliefs we have about ourselves. Once this change takes place the conscious mind and the subconscious mind begin working together as a team. When this occurs, incredible transformations can and do take place.
