I truly believe it’s never too late to live the life you were meant to live!
Not that many years ago, I made a conscious decision to step into my life and quit leaving it all to chance. After many challenging “Life Lessons,” I came to a point of really evaluating where my life was heading. I knew I did NOT want to repeat those same old experiences, but didn’t have a clue where to start or how to change things.
I’ll let you in on a little secret…I was very OCD when it came to life. I thought everything could be put in a neat, orderly fashion so you knew exactly what would happen. Only problem was, the more I tried to hold tight to my perceptions of life, the messier it became! It was all an illusion. I could not control life!
I look back on that and chuckle. Life is ever-changing and never follows the exact path you think it should. The key is not to control life, but to choose your reactions and perceptions to life’s experiences. I began to understand life was about choices, my choices. Once I learned that simple fact, my life took on a whole new meaning.
There was always a part of me that knew there was more to life than just going through the motions. There had to be a purpose to my life. As I became more aware of all the opportunities out there, things shifted. People and circumstances began appearing to support and encourage my journey in discovering my purpose in life.
It takes courage to step outside your comfort zone into the unknown. The unknown can seem scary when you’re used to a certain level of comfort. Yet think about that level of comfort for a moment.
Are you really happy there?
Do you feel as if your life has any meaning?
Is your life fulfilling?
Those are hard questions to ask yourself. I totally understand that. I’ve been there, done that and am now living the life I was meant to live. Just remember this – each person has within them a special gift, a unique talent to share with the world. By not searching for your gift, you are denying your true self. You can have an impact on the life of others by allowing your gift to shine. There is someone out there waiting for what you have to offer. The world needs you. It is never too late to live the life you were meant to live.
I know you can do it. I know you too can take the steps necessary to discover your purpose. It’s right there inside of you, waiting for you to acknowledge it and live it. Doesn’t matter what your life has looked like up to now. Step away from any shame, blame or guilt over what has been. Instead, use those experiences to create the life you were meant to live.
The best place to start is right where you are at this moment in time. You will be amazed at what shows up in your life to help you in your journey. All it takes is staying alert and aware of opportunities that are presented to you. Reach deep inside, stand in your power and choose. It’s up to you.

“Weight-Train” Your Brain
I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
