Some of the remedies for common jealousy instances are highlighted below:- • How to Deal with Jealousy at School for Peersrno Realize that each student in class has a different strength, intelligence, insight, and talent to contribute. Some students may be excellent at math, while others great at learning new languages or running the fastest. You cannot take away the talents they have, similar to how someone else cannot take away from the talents you have.rno Using the Shoe Analogy: Each person has a different shoe size. It does not make sense to be jealous of someone who has a show size of 8, if your shoe size is 7. It goes to show that each person is born with natural talents and their own personality. Every human being is born with different traits, in different locations, with different cultures, so it does not make sense to compare one person with another because there are so many varying factors. • How to Deal with Jealousy in the Workplace o If your coworker gets praised more than you, you will start being envious of them. However, at such times we need to realize that each person brings different strengths to the team. It is crucial to have each employee on the team, with his or her unique traits, in order to complete the project effectively. o Understand that being jealous of someone else only makes you bitterer and halts your own progress and the progress of others. Often times jealousy makes people do crazy and mean things to one another. o Acknowledge that bringing others down will not help raise you in any aspect of life. You will only continue to feel terrible about yourself and others. In order to break this cycle, it is important to see the good that others are able to contribute because of what they have. If we follow the teachings of Param Pujya Dadashri to fight Jealousy, we will surely win one day: For every single negative or jealous thought that you have for another person, immediately think of at least three positives or contributions that, that person has, and the negativity you have for that person will vanish!
