Jogging is incredibly good for the body and everyone knows it. The ability to run is one of the most beneficial abilities, and for many reasons. It is an activity if not a great activity that can be competed to other types of exercises as to the terms of health benefits that it can give. It is one of the best ways to get a cardiovascular workout that one can burn a lot of calories and is great for the heart. There are some people who believe jogging would be the best exercise to lose weight, a thirty minute jog three times each week has helped many people control weight and its true. However, it is a routine that one can hardly stick to because of the high stamina that it requires. But we can address ways to ease up ourselves for a great jogging regimen just by thinking of the health benefits that one can get from it. What are the health benefits one can get from jogging? Below is the list of health benefits one can get from doing jogging as a form of cardiovascular exercise: 1. It will strengthen the heart, 2. It will increase energy, 3. It will promote rest and quality sleep, 4. It will boost the metabolism, will burn calories, and will help lose weight, 5. It will strengthen the lungs and will increase its capacity as well, 6. It will reduce the risk for diabetes, 7. It will help reduce stress, 8. It will strengthen the muscles throughout the body, 9. It will improve blood circulation efficiency and will reduce blood pressure, and 10. It will improve mental health and will lower the incidence of depression. So how does one start up a jogging regimen? The trick here is to start slowly and by not to run at all. First, take some stretches and a long walk so that the body will not turn into a high-output energy solution but instead, it can then access to a deeper resources of energy such as glucose or fat. Not only that, but the most important thing is the body can build up stamina. In the long walks for the first days of the jogging regimen, pick up a stride and maintain it for some time until you are ready for the jogging form. The idea here is to get the body accustomed to a much harder workout and after weeks or a month, start introduce jogging as a fitness regimen gradually. Although it needs discipline and determination, jogging is enjoyable and fun. Here are the basic steps and tips to do when jogging? 1. Dress up comfortably and appropriately. 2. Do a body warm up and stretching before jogging. 3. Try to do a jogging regimen on a level surface first to reduce stress on the body. 4. Start walking at a comfortable pace for about 50 meters on a level surface then pick up a pace and start jogging slowly. Start a jogging regimen for a 15 minutes time frame for a week or two weeks and increase it gradually until you can reach a 1 hour endurance jogging. Limit your jogging regimen to 1 hour. 5. After jogging and heading back home, walk for about 50 meters before reaching home base in a way to cool down. End it with a few stretching. It’s been a long time jogging has continued to be a means of recreation and exercise. It is highly recommended that everyone take up at the very least of walking if not jogging as an exercise routine only if one has a time for it. But if you don’t have, one can resort to indoor cardiovascular exercises.
