What miracles does today hold for you? What delightful surprises are in store for you? What manna from Heaven will you receive today? And what miracles divined for others will you be a part of today? Given the opportunity, what would you like to delight others with? What treat would you plan? What gift from Me would you give today?

One or many are waiting for blessings from you. What are you waiting for, beloved? Why would you wait when you can be a Santa Claus of spirit today?

I wonder if you have any idea of what a smile from you means to another? You must not know, or you would smile more often, and you would give a wider smile. In fact, you would be the first to smile, to say hello, to say something meaningful to another's heart. Just so, you would swell your own. Your own heart would start bursting with joy.

Even when you are not particularly happy, you can still give happiness. And when you think less about yourself, you certainly will be happier and give more happiness to others. You will smile on the world. You will have a smile for yourself as well.

Perhaps you think it is not really within you, or within your power, to make a day brighter for others. Why is that hard for you to believe that you are here on Earth to give particles of happiness? Surely you are aware that, when you are grumpy or angry or out of sorts, you contribute to unhappiness. Why then not believe in your ability to contribute happiness? In any case, you are a contributor. Might as well give joy. Surely you wouldn't intend to give grief.

Surely if it were up to you, you would grace the world with peace and a sense of well-being. Beloveds, it is up to you. It is up to you as much as it would be if you were the only Human Being alive on Earth. The responsibility for joy is all yours. Surely you aren't waiting for someone else to take the ball and run with it. I depend on you, you, yes, the one who reads this now with your eyes. I gave you to the world so that you would make it happier. It is not farflung at all to say that you are here to make the world a better place, for that is exactly what you are here for.

You are here to set up a rash of miracles, one after another, as if you had a special kind of love machine gun, a machine gun that shoots out joy and a sense of becoming. A hand gun of joy will do. Even you can shoot love out by the power of your thoughts alone. Isn't that a wonderful thing?

You don't have to stand before crowds and orate. You can be where you are right now and send out joy like fireworks, all set a head of time. You set off a sequence of fireworks with your thoughts alone.

You do this solely from your need and desire to give. It is not for you to measure what you gain. You do not do it for your gain. You do it because there is deep within you a spectacular need to give, and to give more and more, to give all you would like to receive, and to give it generously. Truly, beloved, it is your heart's desire to give and give and give more. Of course, it is out one door and in the next, yet your conce
is with what is going out. You understand this. I believe you understand this. Begin, and, like Me, you will heap up treasure and give it away like the rhapsody of a song you can't help but sing.
