Are you looking for a singular amazing exercise to burn fat - one that's better then anything else? That exercise is real, but it might not be easy.

It's not anything you do in the gym... it's an introspective exercise! Working all pieces of your body with one exercise is not possible... no one exercise compensates for a bad diet or never having a plan for your workouts. Figuring out your mental game is more beneficial then anything you can on the mat.

What's the best way to uplevel your mental game? (which means practicing the best exercise you can do for yourself!)

Truly figure out your motivation and you're halfway to having a good,healthy plan for losing weight. Many people sort of want to lose weight - why are you EXCITED to lose weight? Is there a healthy reason you believe in? If you are not motivated by fear (generally of rejection of some sort) I think your results will come easier.

When fear is your motivation for losing weight, at some point you'll learn that people might have other reasons for rejecting you that don't involve your weight (maybe they have a hangup of their own) Then is your weight loss motivation shot? Use what reasons you have to motivated to start right now - but there are so many other reasons you can find to keep on track. Isn't it great to move your body and have it respond to what you want? Isn't the zen of exercise great? Isn't getting sweaty a great way to release some frustration? How much healthier do you feel after a vegetable-based meal or piece of fruit then after suffering through the sugar rush of processed foods and sodas? If you can stay conscious to these pleasures and have them motivate you, how much easier will it be to make good choices? How much cleaner can you be?

Even with strong willpower, cravings and munchies will arise - so also practice your commitment abilities! Schedule exercise and good eating on your wall calender or planner. Make it difficult to -not- eat healthy and follow your exercise workout. Find an accountability partner, post your chosen weight loss plan in an online forum. Don't keep junk food in your kitchen. This is all common sense advice - it's good advice!

Find the combination of motivation and commitment that will make a particular plan healthy for you, and keep it up. This is obviously easier to read about then implement, but the introspective exercise of finding what motivates YOU and the making sure it's a good reason will prove more sustainable and useful then providing you with one more exercise panacea for your brain (to be easily overwritten with an equally limited exercise). Motivation is forever.
