So what do you think about and just depends on what you need. It is necessary taking into account all the various factors involved in this. There are reasons to keep a home phone is a good idea.
The first thing that must be considered that mobile phones do not work everywhere. Certain buildings seem to effectively block the signal, and if the family home this way, then the house or ground lines are necessary. "Even though it is a choice to keep the phone all the time, it can be disruptive and annoying. Mobile phone companies did a great job marketing to families with multiple phones and many members of that very difficult debate, why your family has more than one mobile phone, and even children have become targets.
There are some pretty cheap options in phone service. Adding home phone or VoIP phone to your Internet service can be quite cost effective. There will be no long distance charges for such type of phone, and you never have to worry about batteries going dead, or leave something at home free phone when you need a box with you.
As with any important choice you can do is no different and you need to do your research before you make your final decision. If you cancel your home phone, you no doubt, one less monthly expense. Many times this means to increase their mobile bill and you will not save anything. Your home phone, it might just be your best choice, but take a close look into the possibility of VoIP.
