Kerala Elephant Festival draws to large number of devotees and spectators from all parts of the country and the world as well. This colourful festival of Kerala consists to the processions of richly decorated elephants from various neighbouring temples to the Vadakumnathan temple.
Pongalr
Pongal is one of the most auspicious days for the Hindus, celebrated in almost all parts of the country, with great devotion, fervour and gaiety. Thousands of people take a dip in places like Ganga Sagar and Prayag and pray to Lord Sun. This festival as one of the Kerala attractions is celebrated with pomp in southern parts of the country.
