The team is in the middle of a 4 game home stand and Isiah Thomas' contract is coming to an end. Some people wonder if Madison Square Garden chairman, James Dolan, made a mistake by extending his contract. His decision to extend Thomas' contract has been scrutinized throughout the NBA.n nThe Knicks' losing streak comes at a bad time now that Stephon Marbury has been in the controversial spotlight. Even though Thomas told the press that Marbury would be attending the game, he didn't. As usual, Thomas wouldn't talk about the situation and didn't answer questions as to whether or not Marbury would be fined for not appearing. Lately, Thomas' most common response to questions about Marbury has been to ask him.nnEven the Senior Vice President of MSG, Barry Watkin refused to comment on the matter. David West got 19 points and 8 rebounds and Chandler had 15 points and 18 rebounds for the Hornets.
