Requirement of titanium and its alloys can be seen in different industries. It is found to be a light metal, which is strong and durable in nature. Toughness of this metal is more than other metals like, aluminum and steel. Different aerospace industries use this metal for manufacturing sports cars due to its high tendency to bear heat. Also, it is much desired metal in those industries because of its light weight and high durability. In case of titanium 6al-4v ELI, it is a perfect blend of 4% Vanadium, 6% aluminum and rest titanium. This alloy is found to be very much resistant to corrosion. Also, it is strong and tuff alloy.

Use of titanium 6al-4v ELI can be seen in major components in an airplane. Also, it is being used in several fields like, medical fields and manufacturing of pressure vessels. Application of titanium has been increased in different fields these days due to its flexibility and more strength than any other metals like, aluminum and steel. In comparison to steel, titanium is found to be 30% stronger and lighter metal. Its melting point is quite high and is able to hold its strength even at higher temperature. Due to this property of titanium, this metal is found to make engine components of airplanes. This alloy is found to resist salt and water. It can be used in making sport cars, space ships, missiles, naval ships and many other things.

Like titanium, wide application of Aluminum can be seen in various industries for various purposes. So, there are endless applications seen in aluminum and its alloys. It is also a very light yet strong metal, which can be used in large scale these days. 2219 aluminum is found to be mostly used metal in aerospace industry due to its high melting point and high tolerance to heat. Alloy of aluminum is found to be very much well-known for its strength and light weight. Properties of aluminum are quite similar to the titanium. Aluminum is found to be quite resistant to corrosion and it has high endurance.

2219 aluminum is that alloy, which comes with nickel and copper. And, it is also popular for its high resistance to corrosion, especially in salty water. Due to its high tolerance to heat, use of this alloy is widely seen in airplanes. Aluminum alloy can be found in different forms like, rod, sheet wire, bar or any other shape, as per the requirement.
