The different methods of GPS dispatch usage bring out mixed results. The most successful and popular among them is the least radio infrastructure that utilizes the MDT in their decision making process. The other system that uses the host based decision making needs a bigger radio infrastructure to support the whole process. Generally the GPS dispatching offers the optimum and fastest service level, but at times they are not well received by the drivers.
So each new process of taxi booking and dispatch system is seen to improve the company’s ability to provide the taxi service in a cost effective, timely and user-friendly manner.
