Though SEO can be be considered as one of the least expensive Internet marketing yet effective tool, it cannot be considered a panacea for all the marketing requirements or a quick fix for great sabotages taking place in the marketing department of the organization. SEO alone cannot fix problems in marketing or bring the entire range of business leads as for it is a combined marketing strategy which is essential wherein it is used besides the other marketing tools.
SEO is being considered a volatile method in Internet marketing which can help organizations gain high rank in search engines and huge number of visitors or can submerge the entire website down the million pages that it takes ete
ity to find out a page. Thus, though there can be some organic traffic into the website, it requires a cautious SEO effort besides some other marketing tools including of PPC, email marketing, blogging, social media marketing, etc. to generate traffic and bring quality visitors who help in lead generation.
Nonetheless, SEO can be even more effective if a parallel marketing is done for the offered product or services with the help of marketing tools such as direct mail, print advertising, radio spots, TV advertising, etc. SEO consultants are of the opinion that organic traffic should be considered as supplement and not the entire essence of Internet marketing; therefore, other marketing tools to should be added into the kitty to bring targeted traffic or visitors.
What SEO Cannot Do?
There are certain things which cannot be solved or made possible despite herculean efforts by SEO professionals and one of them is to do magic to bring business out of blue when economic recession is going on. The recent recession showed that no marketing skill can bring business or propel the economy when it is slowing down and SEO is not an exception. Similarly, there cannot be swift outcome of SEO as it is time taking process which requires an stipulated time to mature and fruit.
Therefore, any exaggerated expectation from the clients just spoils the genuine efforts in doing SEO. Clients often expect wonder by a night when hiring a SEO company; however, they do not understand that it is a long-term strategy for increasing the targeted customer base. Though they cannot be blamed for most of them are ignorant about it and do not take an interest to know what is it all about. Thus, believing in the fact that though SEO can serve as second foil to actual marketing, it can never replace the actual marketing itself.
