The banking sector is one of the leading sectors in India today. It contributes majorly to the economy of our country. The majority of youth is inclined towards getting a good post in the banking sector of India. It is only this sector that provides job security and allows entry of any academic background, if they fit the eligibility criteria. Institute of Banking Personnel has played a major role in the growing success of the banking sector. It is one of the largest recruiters for the banking industry, and recruits capable individuals through the process of outsourcing. It is well known for its stringent recruiting techniques, its well spread network of offices throughout the country and its efficient team of personnel’s. However, recently, a new achievement has been added to its merit list. It is the introduction of the CWE, common written exam in 2011. It is a large-scale recruitment programmes which has gained it much popularity. It will recruit candidates for the post of Bank PO and Bank Clerk.rnWe are well aware of the achievements of Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) which has served the banking sector since years. Its efficient team of employees is spread throughout in its offices set up in major states of the country. It works on western models of recruitment which ensure full satisfaction by the recruiting bank. It does not confine itself to recruitments, it is well known for its additional functions in the banking industry. It traines the aspiring candidates and work on their personalities, it promotes individuals based on their performances etc. Its motto is to provide satisfaction to both the candidates and the banks. One major step towards this achievement is being taken in the year 2011, by the introduction of the CWE. This common written exam, aims to recruit candidates for Bank PO and bank clerk posts, that too on a large scale. The candidates who clear this exam will be called if any bank vacancy arises in the 19 participatory banks. Thereby, providing a huge opportunity to the candidates and ensuring quality recruitment for the banks. The question paper would be designed by a faculty of professionals who would prepare a high standard question paper, allowing entry of the best candidates. This, recruitment by IBPS aims to solve the age-old problem of bank recruitment where candidates often complain about lack of seats. Every candidate would get an equal opportunity to exhibit his/her capability and be recruited as a Bank PO or Bank Clerk.
