Since we're almost three months in the year they decided it was time to give my opinion on what can happen in web design in 2011. (At least I thought I should probably write before the end of the year.)

Thus, over recent weeks I have read several of my favorite design magazines, blogs and web design articles and see a number of leading websites, especially outside North America, so I could share some reflections on what looks are some of the major trends in website design for 2011. Nothing scientific here only a few observations.

1. Less use of flash is not the fact that Flash is a technology of great ... (When used properly is) ... but in the last year has been used, misused, to the extent that it has developed a bad reputation. Certainly, the ongoing shenanigans betwee
Adobe (creator of Flash) and Apple (iPhone and iPad) are not helping the situation. Today, websites must have a clean, uncluttered design, loads fast and above all must be the search engines. This is a problem for Flash and now with the arrival of the new web coding languages HTML5 and CSS3, along with the explosive growth of Web browsing on mobile devices may be the beginning of the end of Flash in web design.

2. Simple and easy cleaning. Minimal. Clear. Nothing like "attention grabbing" as an honest and direct message in a quiet place. Silence can be interpreted in different ways. Forget black and white or shades of gray, although these are still very popular in certain industries. Think green, yellow, red, blue or even as their primary color. However, limiting the palette of two or three colors. Working in the shadows of every color of the variety and depth. It can be really remarkable what some colors can do for effective messages.

3. Ready Design Mobile Smartphones, tablets, netbooks, the list goes on. There are a dizzying number of mobile products to consumers in 2011. This means that the web design must respond to multiple devices. Create a mobile website is not ready to simply removing the bells and whistles of its existing design. One of the most important is that you can design a site as a whole and allow encoding to conform to a display means of the user. It may be tempting to create only a dedicated mobile site, but can not meet your audience. Increasingly, mobile units, including the option of visiting the original site. If you do not offer this option or if your original site is not optimized for mobile standards, are simply not ready for 2011. Forecasters predict that smartphones more personal computers sold this year and in 2013 spent more time surfing the Internet on a mobile device in a personal computer.

4. Great photographic backdrops funds large-scale fire in 2011. These images are high resolution and covering the entire site. Great pictures are an instant to grab your audience. Massive taboo images for web designers, but thanks to the optimization of the image better, faster Internet access, and more intelligent charging methods, designers can gain a lot in some places, pushing the maximum image sizes. The trends also point to the images a bit soft and transparent, not the shadow of its content, but in harmony with it.

5. QR: Quick Response You may have noticed the square bar codes (looks like a bunch of wavy lines unrelated) to appear on business cards, magazines or other places, so they know they are a trend fashion for 2011. These barcodes are called QR, short for quick response. And how exactly does QR translate into web design? Very well, indeed. Simply take a picture of the unique barcode with your camera phone. Like magic, the phone call to the web page with the barcode. QR nice thing is flexibility. Its functio
QR on its website so that site visitors to have direct access to your mobile site. 2011 has to do with mobility and will be smart to take advantage of this new medium.

6. Thumbnail Our good friends at Google design have introduced the average Internet user navigation in miniature. The day clicking to view the content of a website are gone. Now, just click on the magnifying glass and loom. And like magic before your eyes is an idea of what awaits the other side of your click. This is another topic for the Flash-based design that is surely going to be a problem. The preview will not show the elements of design. As the average Internet user becomes more Internet savvy, in 2011, we expect to see more people browsing the media.

These are by no means a complete list of all stripes. In fact, I could probably write an entire publication on trends in the use of different fonts alone.

Write me and let me know what are the trends they have noticed and what you think of them.
