Contoura vision surgery is also known as Topography-guided LASIK surgery or Robotic Lasik. The surgery is performed under the effect of topical drop anaesthesia. In this advanced technology, an Aberrometer is used to capture 22000 data points of the corneas front surface and a customised corneal map is created through topography. Every point is analyzed for abnormality and is corrected through LASER. Post-surgery eye care is an important part of the treatment to achieve the desired result. Eye drops including anti-inflammatory and antibiotics are prescribed for fast healing and recovery.
