Believe it or not; there are many baby- boomers amongst us. And most of them would have happily discarded few kilos while they were in their twenties or even thirties. But it will work no longer. Today, all of us are living in a world that moves by minute. Almost all of us are required to place greater demands on energy and time. Hardly any one of us would love to go for long jogging sessions. Wouldn’t it be great for you if you were given some ideas that will help squeeze some movements or exercises in between your busy schedule? But the question that still persists is: How many of us do actually incorporate these things in our daily lives?
Think of some innovative ways of getting back some exercises back into your lifestyle. May be, think of wearing your iPod whilst you are cooking or listen to some music while you are washing dishes. Go for a short distance walk, particularly if you are bored after doing sedentary works like sitting in front of your PC. Surely, all this will make a difference in your life in the longer run. I personally make it a point to walk at least 30 minutes in my garden after every 10 minutes of working in front of my computer. To add to this I drink at least 200ml of water. This way, I manage to walk at least 7 km every week and drink no less than 1 liter each day!
If you have the habit of spending lots of time chatting over the phone with your friend then think of buying yourself a headset and a hands free phone. Make it a point that you walk while you chat. You would have covered sizeable distance even before you finish talking! And you wouldn’t have even realized that you actually did it! Always make use of stair cases instead of relying on elevators. Try parking your car far away from your place o work. This will help you to walk some more distance. Also, if you are standing in a queue, you can try to tighten the muscles around your stomach. If you had this habit of leaving your kids to schools via vehicles then stop it immediately. You can make them walk along with you to their school. This way, you will have combined benefits of family fitness along with spending some time with them!
Make an effort to learn simple stretching or yoga tricks before you leave your bed each morning. Instead of seeing kids play all by themselves get down to their playground and let you be a kid temporarily! Wouldn’t that be some fun? I am sure that while we are talking about all these possibilities in trying to get some exercises back into your life, you might have some ideas of your own. Perhaps, those might work for you better than these. So why not give those ideas a try? Always do your best and leave the rest to work around you. You might just be lucky.

Moving Meditation: How Precision-Based Exercise Supports Mental and Emotional Growth
Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; itâs therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThatâs where precision-based training, such as re
