Yoga performed along with meditation is known to offer major health benefits that include both physiological as well as psychological benefits. The physiological benefits include notable decrease in blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol level and overall improvement of immune system, to prevent the occurrence of diseases. rnThe psychological benefits of yoga meditation are immense. For those who have become victim of stress, anxiety, or depression, yoga meditation practiced on a regular basis have been known to alleviate many related symptoms as certain hormones that control stress are released in the blood while you perform these yogic postures. rnPracticed concurrently, these practices show great positive effect on the body. People who practice both yoga as well as meditation have shown notable improvement in terms of creativeness, memory, and feeling of stability, leaving them simply more contented and happy. rnYou can practice yoga meditation either separately or together. You can practice it in the seclusion of your own house or a class where an instructor provides guidance to you and many others who can enjoy the similar benefits. rnThough yogic postures and meditation techniques are simple and could be performed without expert advice yet two important things that need to be taken care of is a comfortable as well as quiet place for performing yoga meditation.
