Leadership theories are all about how best someone directs their group and or even themselves in achieving their goals thus becoming successful. People do apply leadership theories in their day to day business even without knowing it. These theories do apply to group members if you are involved in group studies at school and or when working as a group while in the office. Leadership theories can also be applicable to individuals who often keep to themselves or their work does not require them to be involved in any groupings. There various types of leadership theories hat apply to our daily routine include the following. First we have the behavioral theories. This theory implies that we get to learn leadership ways as we grow up or from our environment. This theory applies to our daily routine when we set our minds to learn and achieve something new with each passing day. Apart from behavioral theory, there is management theory that guides us on how we should do things. Our daily routines involve some sort of planning, organizing and even supervising activities right from the moment we wake up. Management theory helps us to plan ahead of time so that we have a rough idea of what is expected of us. One can be guaranteed in life and especially should you want to be successful, you must apply some management theory in almost all of your daily activities. Participative theory is another type of leadership theories. Participative theory states that a good leader should be able to participate in most of the group activities. Whether you are your own leader or you are the team leader of your group, it is important to participate in major, if not all, activities that point towards success. They say if you want something or a project to be successful, why not do it yourself? Your daily routine is normally fixed with those activities you are not comfortable with when someone else handles them. That is where this leadership theory falls into place. Relationship theory can be described as one of the most important leadership theories that we apply in our day to day life. Relationship theory is how best we relate to others. Our daily routines involve meeting and mixing with different people but how best do we do this? It is important that we all form some of the best relationship ties with people we meet with in our lives. This is because we never know when we might need their help as we progress in our journey towards becoming successful in life. Another important theory that applies to our daily routine is the contingency theory. From day to day, life presents us with different challenges. These challenges can not be approached in the same manner. Therefore have the ability to adapt and solve different challenges in our lives is very important. Leadership theories can all at once apply in your daily routine because you never know what life will present you in the next minutes or hours.
