The fallopian tube is a part of a woman's reproductive system that connects the ovaries to the uterus, allowing eggs to move from the former to the latter during the menstrual cycle. Fallopian tubes can become blocked and cause problems such as infertility. Fortunately, in addition to surgery being one of the most common ways to get rid of the problem, there are some conservative treatments that can be used without side effects to remove the blockage. Yoga is one of them! To understand how yoga can be used to treat blocked fallopian tubes, it is important to understand what they are, what causes them, and what symptoms are expected to occur. Fallopian tubes can be blocked by pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, scar tissue or pelvic adhesins caused by certain sexually transmitted diseases (such as chlamydia and gonorrhea), which can cause scarring and inflammation. When the fallopian tubes are blocked, it not only affects the passage of egg cells from the ovary to the uterus, but also may prevent fertilization, since the sperm cannot reach the egg. How does yoga help improve blocked fallopian tubes? As is known to all, yoga is a mind-calming exercise and a holistic health practice that seeks to align the mind, body and soul. In addition to physical fitness, study has also proven that yoga can reduce stress, which in turn can be beneficial to fertility. Yoga helps reduce inflammation and increases blood flow and oxygen levels, thus helping to prevent fallopian tube blockages. The two great postures are recommended for blocked fallopian tubes, which are particularly helpful in treating and improving female symptoms. 1. Viparita Karani It is a powerful healing and restorative asana. You can do different exercises depending on your physical needs and abilities, as using props as auxiliary means is very common. For beginners, it is recommended that you use a simpler posture rather than a consistent movement. Start by placing your back on the floor and your legs on the wall. If you have less flexibility, the auxiliary bracket should be lower and further away from the wall. If you have good flexibility, you can put the support tools closer together. It's a slight handstand that circulates blood around the body, helping to increase oxygen levels and reduce inflammation. Since this is a restorative posture, especially when using props, it helps to lower stress levels, thereby reducing stress-related diseases. It acts directly on the pelvic area and reproductive organs and may therefore help relieve blocked fallopian tubes. 2. Setu Bandha Sarvangasana Another useful posture when dealing with blocked fallopian tubes is the bridge posture, known as Setu Bandha Sarvangasana, which can be both invigorating and restorative. To do this posture, you need to lie on your back on sticky pads, bend your knees, with your feet firmly on the ground, and get down with your arms stretching to one side of your body, and your hands pointing to your heels. This will help ensure that your feet are at the right distance from the rest of your body. Your arms should be straight and your fingertips should be able to touch your feet. They should be parallel to each other throughout the exercise. The help of yoga props can be added to this posture to enhance its restorative power. Wooden yoga blocks are a good choice because you can use them in any of these positions depending on the height that best suits you. Yoga is a helpful option for female fertility with no side effects, while you still need radical treatment for your body if you want to unclog the fallopian tubes. For instance, the herbal medicine Fuyan Pill has been proved to be able to effectively treat the blocked fallopian tubes caused by inflammations and other factors. It also features no side effects to the human body, which can surely improve the female urogenital system, enabling the female to unclog the fallopian tubes and then have a better physical and physiological status to conceive.
