This lets users create reports in a variety of ways. Various reporting types allow the user to select a field and then move it via drag-n-drop to the proper location on the report. Reports within Salesforce.com are related to various graphical options such as charts and graphs. To define charting and graphing options, Salesforce users are able to easily configure th editor. The Enterprise version of Salesforce includes Custom Reporting Types. SF.com provides the ability to associate each custom report type to 4 different objects. In the more expensive editions, reports in Salesforce can be auto-sent via email. This can be done on a scheduled basis. The body of the email contains the reporting data as formatted text. The Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited Editions provide for personalized dashboards. Users of Salesforce have the option to arrange their dashboard panels as they see fit. The Salesforce User Adoption dashboard helps inform executives of which parts of the system are being utilized. Microsoft CRM - Dashboards Microsoft has a wonderful Wizard for the creation of new reports. A popular option is for users to base their new reports on reports that already exist in the database. Users can easily filter reports. This option exists during report creation or editing. Reports allow for a Primary record type and a Related record type. Selection of groupings and columns takes place within the layout editor. The Microsoft dashboard editor allow susers to drill-down and easily choose fields. Over that last dozen years, Saleslogix has focused on selling their CRM product as a licensed model. Salesforce versus Saleslogix – the Database Capacity Among the main concerns of the company in choosing the right framework for the CRM system is the data storage functions. If the number of users reaches 50, Saleslogix provides 100GB of storage capacity. To receive an additional 100GB of capacity, users can receive this for $50 per month. Feature comparison ofrSalesforce and Saleslogix Users are best able to decide on the proper solution only after having examined all software features. Both software products cost the same price at $65, and this is considered as a great benefit already. Overall, the feature set within Saleslogix is richer for the same price.
