LED street lights make use of light emitting diodes as their source of light. Basically, illumination is realized when electrons move through a semiconductor material, and which is in this case a light emitting diode. LED street lighting takes many forms including UL LED street lights, LED tunnel/floodlights, and LED traffic lights, among others. These lights obtain their energy from various sources with the two preferred ones being solar and wind energy.rnThere are many companies that manufacture different lights i.e. street lights, traffic lights, tunnel lights etc, but not all of them offer earth-friendly products. Build Better Earth products from China are some of the leading environmentally-friendly LED lighting products. Earth-friendly lighting products have a worldwide demand with LED street lighting accessories being exported to over 130 countries. There are various models of LED lighting that can be obtained via www.bbeled.com and each of these models is powered by solar, wind, or other applicable energy sources. Electricity can also be used. These products include LED Street Lights (LUs/4x7), UL LED Street Lights (LDs/4x6), Solar/Wind Turbine LED Street Lights, SKD LED Street Light Parts, as well as LED Tunnel/Flood Lights.rnThe solar LED street light is one of the most common models and is very appropriate for areas that receive abundant sunlight throughout the year. This ensures that there is enough solar energy to power the solar kits that are normally attached to this kind of lighting. The solar energy is stored during the day and then used up at night to power the lighting. There are several countries whose environments can ably support the use of the solar LED street light model and these include the Maldives, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, and many more.rnThere are many ways in which the solar LED street light as well as all other types of LED street lighting models can be used for lighting. These products can be used to light up industrial areas, to provide illumination for park areas and outside housing estates, for lighting within towns and along roads and highways, and to provide adequate light for automobile repair shops, petrol stations, and many other types of business premises. In all these areas the old models of street lights are being phased out and replaced with LED street lights.rnThe solar LED street light as well as all other models of LED street lighting are advantageous with regards to the reduction of current and power consumption and thus ensuring a reduction in power expenses.
