Much of my work in stress and lifestyle balance is about teaching people how happy people live in the grace of gratitude. These happy individuals are grateful daily for their breath, their heartbeats, their health, the people they love and every blessing in their lives. They don’t rush by life in a panic like most of us do. They drink in each experience and say, “thanks for that delicious moment.” I’ve never known a spiritual person or a happy person that wasn’t grateful on a profoundly deep level. Not just saying, “thank you,” but having the soul of gratitude. There is an innate humility to truly grateful people that surrounds them like a cloud. I have always been a person who is immensely grateful but in the last three weeks since the accident, with all this pain and it’s challenges, my gratitude has reached new unknown levels.
