Maybe more lights? No. Perhaps some more camera? Nope. We all know that where the rubber meets the road is through our ACTION. As much as visualizing and mental rehearsing is vital, without action, its all for not. We still live in a physical world where physical action is the keystone is us manifesting our desires. What we must know is that the time for action will never be perfect. The stars and moons will all never align perfectly. This is a universal law that you can count on. Its one that I begrudgingly have accepted because its true, bottom line. The only time to live and act is NOW. You can’t act in the past. You can’t act in the future. You can only act now. So you MUST take action now. If you’re still thinking “Whatever Ron, I’ll do it when I do it, back off.” Ok, Ok, I didn’t want to have to go here, but I will. You (and me included) aren’t guaranteed another day. Period. How many days do you have left? Do you know? Once again, realize that God and the universe want to see you step out in faith FIRST. It’s just not possible nor practical to have all the answers upfront or every possible scenario mapped out in detail with all possible challenges ahead of time. There’s numerous metaphors to describe this fact of life. Someone stated if you wait for all the lights to turn green at the same time before you get started, you’ll wait forever. Somewhere else someone stated that a river is never perfectly straight. Usually you can only see just to the next bend to which you must progress before you can see any further. So, this is life. God has placed a veil in front of us keeping the future and certain things unknown to us. Rather than grumble though – embrace this fact. I think this is what makes life so exciting and vibrant. That being said, preparation is still of importance. Do your due diligence. Visualize and mentally imagine yourself succeeding. Then…(wait for it)…Take Action believing and expecting success. Several keys I’ve learned and stress are: * Do not stall. * Act in faith where you are RIGHT NOW and course correct. (Don’t kid yourself, “someday” never comes around.) * Set short deadlines for action steps or projects. * Understand that simultaneous action beats sequential action. * And finally, don’t confuse activity with productivity. You know what I’m talking about. Nothing comes from inaction outside of missed opportunities and regret. For even if you were to fail, you will gain invaluable experience. As well, failure is merely feedback. What also helps me is to know that even if I make a mistake, the world won’t end. MOST IMPORTANTLY, what you will realize is that real success isn’t necessarily accomplishing your goals. It’s defeating your fears, comfort zones and limiting beliefs. It’s growing as a person. Its growing in faith. Its stepping out of your comfort zone without any guarantees. Its stepping in faith without any assurances and taking action and doing something. When you act in spite of fear you’re FREE. You’re growing. And growing is winning. That’s what we are desiring deep down. Our spirit, our soul, doesn’t want that award, money, car – it wants growth. Its wants to reach and express its fullest capabilities. Now get to it. Talk soon, Ron
